Itasca Community Library 500 W Irving Park Rd. Itasca, IL 60143 United States
Todd Hunt, a nostalgic humorist and Lucille Ball historian, takes you back to the golden age of television, using slides, audio and video clips, to reveal how this classic show was created.
Wrap up the holidays at the library! We’ll set out a merry mix of wrapping paper, bows, and tags so you can tackle your gift wrapping in a cheerful, stress-free space. Bring your gifts and enjoy some holiday spirit while you wrap!
For many people, the holidays are a time of traditions—and there were plenty of entertaining traditions during the “Golden Age” of radio, from Jack Benny’s annual shopping trips to Lionel Barrymore’s portrayal of Ebeneezer Scrooge.
It’s a win-win! You enjoy a good meal, and Friends of the Itasca Community Library receive a portion of the proceeds. Flyers will be available on our website and at the Adult Desk. Be sure to show the flyer when placing your order.
