We'll listen to a few stories and then make a recipe together in your own kitchen over Zoom in this storytime/cooking class combo! A separate registration is required for each session. This month we will share breakfast-themed stories and make DIY granola, so you can customize it with ingredients that your kids like. Here is the list of ingredients that you will need:

  • Extra virgin olive oil or extra virgin coconut oil, melted
  • pure maple syrup, honey, or agave syrup
  • salt
  • old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup each of three mix-ins of your choice* (nuts, seeds**, raisins, Craisins, coconut, etc.)

 

*If you want chocolate granola, use mini chocolate chips for one of your mix-ins.

**If you are using seeds, be sure to get seeds out of their shells such as pepitas (deshelled pumpkin seeds) or deshelled sunflower seeds.
